Portrait Photography Workshops

It’s not necessary to have the most elaborate camera equipment to capture excellent portraits, as you will learn in this magazine. Often, all you need is a camera and a 50mm lens. More crucial are having a keen sense of composition and detail, picking the ideal setting, understanding the fundamentals of lighting, whether it’s studioflash, flashguns, or daylight, and, most importantly, building a solid rapport with your subject. Never undervalue this last point; a contented, at ease subject always makes for great photographs. Be sure to be self-assured, amiable, and enjoy yourself while you’re shooting.
